The Mad Kings are playing a killer Matinee with us! Joined by KC’s Honeywagon!
The Mad Kings:
We are a Lawrence, Kansas-based band with roots in Blues, Rock-n-Roll, & Punk Rock. Our music is the product of a collaborative approach, but the songs we play are almost entirely those written by The Mad King himself. Scott Splawn has been writing and playing since he was a skinny punk kid, so the Royal Vault is ever-expanding.
The lineup includes players from past (and present) local and regional bands including Drowning Incident, Dead Legs Diamond, Tenderloin, Parlay, Joe Worker, Action Man, New Lost Souls and Radio Romantica, The Cave Girls, Vedettes, Heavy Figs, the Real Custom 5, and maybe some others we can’t remember.
